The Inspiration celebrity stationery designer Lisa Hoffman loves drama. So it was only fitting that her wedding, which took place at a converted 17th-century convent in Puerto Rico, featured striking red and black details.
The Setting Hoffman's venue featured an incredible painting that dates back to the 1500's.
The Dress for her walk down the aisle, Hoffman donned a hand appliqued Oscar de la Renta gown. "I loved that it had a light blue organza lining that you could see through the dress.
The Bridal Party Hoffman designed her bridesmaid's bold, red dresses and her mother made them. "That was my gift to them," says Hoffman. "A couture dress they could wear again because they're not typical bridesmaid dresses."
The Setting to play up her vision of a "feast of family and friends," Hoffman decided on a U-shape layout at the reception with the dance floor in the center.
The Decor deep red floral arrangements set on red linens and accented with gold china created a visually stunning, dramatic effect.
The Cake New York City baker April Reed created Hoffman's super-chic four-tier wedding cake, which was accented with turquoise ribbon and a red floral arrangement.
